General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services, consultations, treatments, and products offered by House of Curls. By booking an appointment, the customer accepts the following terms and conditions.

2. Booking Appointments

Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or in person. Before booking, please carefully read the information for the respective service. The customer is responsible for complying with the requirements and preparation instructions.

3. Deposits

A deposit may be required for certain services. The deposit serves as a reservation fee and will be credited towards the appointment.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Appointments can be canceled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. For cancellations or rescheduling less than 24 hours before the appointment, as well as in the case of no-shows, the deposit will not be refunded.

5. Lateness

Please arrive on time for your appointment. In case of lateness, the treatment time may be shortened to avoid disrupting subsequent appointments. The full treatment price will still be due. In case of significant lateness, House of Curls reserves the right to cancel the appointment. In this case, the deposit will not be refunded.

6. Prices

The prices published at the time of booking apply. The prices listed are indicative. Additional costs may apply depending on hair length, hair density, time required, product consumption, or additional services. These will be discussed with the client on-site. House of Curls reserves the right to change prices at any time.

7. Extensions

Extension appointments can only be booked after a prior consultation. During the consultation, the hair structure, the desired change, the appropriate method, the required amount of hair, the hair color, and the costs will be discussed. Please note: Currently, extensions are only available in dark brown.

8. Corrections and Complaints

We place great value on quality and customer satisfaction. Should you be dissatisfied with a service provided at House of Curls, we offer a free correction under the following conditions: Complaints or requests for corrections must be reported within 14 days of the appointment. The correction will be performed exclusively by the stylist who provided the original service. The free correction applies solely to the service in question and is carried out after a professional assessment by House of Curls. If the correction is performed by a different stylist or after the 14-day period has expired, there is no entitlement to a free correction. Refunds for services already rendered are excluded.

9. Health Information

Allergies, intolerances, scalp conditions, or other health conditions that could affect the treatment must be disclosed before the service begins. House of Curls assumes no liability for damages or reactions resulting from undisclosed health information.

10. Liability

House of Curls is liable only for damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. No liability is assumed for customers' personal belongings.

11. Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be exchanged or refunded.

12. Photos and Videos

House of Curls occasionally takes photos or videos of treatment results for documentation and marketing purposes. Publication only occurs with the express consent of the customer.

13. Data Protection

Personal data is treated confidentially and used exclusively for appointment scheduling, customer service, and fulfilling legal obligations. Data will not be disclosed to third parties unless legally required to do so.

14. Final Provisions

Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. Swiss law shall apply exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of House of Curls.
